About the role

Australian Fire Protection is a Fire Training Provider specialising in fire safety training, evacuation diagrams and emergency preparedness and working with Australian Workplaces and Communities for over 20 years.

We are seeking a well-presented, honest and reliable person to join the Training Team which is part of a vibrant growing business located in West Burleigh on the Gold coast.

Responsibilities include

  • Providing a high standard of client service delivery
  • Supporting clients to meet their obligations under legislation
  • Site specific training in emergency evacuation procedures, first response, firefighting and ECO training
  • Report writing
  • Discuss with client any identified gaps in Fire Compliance

Experience preferred but not essential

  • Cert IV in Training & Assessment
  • Previous Experience in fire safety training
  • Current Drivers licence required (essential)
  • QLD Fire Safety Adviser
  • Good IT skills

  • Good knowledge of MsWord, MsExcel and reporting skills
  • Good knowledge MsPower Point

The successful candidate will display initiative, have strong organisation and communication skills, a 'can-do' attitude and willing to go the extra mile.  The successful candidate should have skills in deciphering building plans, sketching building layout from scratch, marking up building plans and identifying site specific equipment.  The Trainer must be able to travel at times to different states to various clients.  Please forward resume to: hr@austfirepro.com.au         Classification:  TBC
