Patrick
As the CEO of Australian Fire Protection, Patrick wants the team to share in his vision and core values into the delivery of our Customer Service Journey. Patrick's motto which he reminds us all as a team is "How we do anything is how we do everything" which is instilled into the focus of the team. Patrick operated a Fire Protection Business with his father in Brunei with Shell Petroleum which is still in operation today and this passion for Fire Safety and compliance was developed in his younger years underpins the vision for our management and team at Australian Fire Protection.

With over 35 years experience, Patrick commenced his knowledge in Brunei where he worked with the family business learning all skills in the fire safety equipment, installation and maintenance for small to large corporate and industry based business. Since moving to Australia, Patrick has remained in the fire industry with a focus on specialising in the training and compliance. Over the years, Patrick has developed and delivered various courses both accredited and
non-accredited for Australian Fire Protection, other fire companies and partnerships with other registered training organisations. Patrick reviews all training material before it is presented to our customers as part of our continuous improvement strategies and that these courses are presented at a professional and high standard.

Tim
Tim is a Fire Safety Advisor & Trainer at Australian Fire Protection. Tim has spent the last 20 years in Sales, Service as well as Training and Development.
Training delivery and engaging with students is one of Tim’s strength and passions as he enjoys watching people grow and making a difference in people’s lives.
Although new to AFP, Tim's passion in training and ensuring that clients receive a great experience is always evident by the many positive feedbacks received.
Fire Safety Advisor & Trainer
Doug
Doug's career in fire and emergency management started as an operational firefighter on the Gold Coast in 1983. 30 years ago Doug moved from operational duties to take on a non-operational role within the fire service industry. Here he worked with building managers and occupiers assisting them in the preparation and management of workplace specific emergency situations. As a fire officer Doug enjoyed many years in the community safety dept, where he worked to ensure the safety of building occupiers. Doug practiced this through building inspections, and training students in all aspects of fire safety. Doug has a passion for fire safety education and teaching students how to calmly react in an emergency situation.

50 years' experience in Emergency management command and control, Fire Scene Investigation and building fire safety compliance.

Andrea has worked in Customer Service since the age of 15. Multi-skilled in customer service, Andrea continues to provide customers with the care and dedication each client deserves.
Andrea is also responsible for ensuring all accredited courses are scheduled ahead of time and also the students register correctly for all accredited courses and that the course packs are posted in time to each student.

Patrick
Patrick has many years' experiences in using various CAD software & also Plan Studio. As the head CAD team, Patrick assists the CAD team in ensuring that Australian Fire Protection's evacuation diagrams are compliant before they are sent to the client.
Over the years Patrick has completed in excess of 7,000 diagrams across Australia ensuring the diagrams meet the Australian Standards AS3745-2010. Some of the diagrams Patrick has designed include schools, warehouses, storage facilities, desalination plants, hotels, hospitals, high rises, retail stores, childcare & early learning centres, age care facilities, correctional facilities and many more.

Patrick has always had a passion for information technology and computer programming. He completed a Diploma of Information Technology (Business) in 1998 and has worked with numerous companies and schools developing Software solutions and CRM.
Patrick has a strong background with the development of the customer Management system that we use at Australian Fire Protection and this continued on with the development of our online Learning Management Systems in place for Customers to enjoy. With his experience as a Fire Safety Adviser and It is a win win situation for the Customer Service Journey experience.

Andrea oversees Australian Fire Protection's online training. You will often find Andrea responding to individual enquiries or assisting with any technical questions that you or your staff may have. Andrea can also customise your online training to your business and industry.
